Vehicle Description This 1966 Corvette Coupe has been owned by same owner for 50 years.
It has the original numbers matching driveline.
The owner has the original authentic Protect-O-Plate, Owner's manual.
This vehicle has been stored in a climate-controlled environment the entire time owned by current owner.
What is unique about this vehicle is it still has the Original Interior that is in excellent condition, including the dash components, gauges, etc.
The only interior component changed (headliner).
This Corvette had one repaint in the mid 70's.
The paint is close to what it would have looked like in 1966.
There are some minor paint imperfections as can be expected.
The Glass is all original and in very good condition overall! The undercarriage is very solid with original patina showing! The 4-speed transmission was rebuilt in the past but is original to this vehicle as well.
4 speed linkage was replaced with aftermarket linkage however shifter original to vehicle.
Transmission build date (P0212).
The original engine has 50,000 miles and runs strong.
#942 Block.
This engine Engine ID.
T0211IP, has not been rebuilt; however, the original Holley Carb (3247) was replaced with another 3247 Holley carb in the recent past.
Also, the Alternator was replaced but not correct.
The knock off wheels were added in approximately 1990.
Excellent condition! The side exhaust was added in the early 80's however was original genuine G.
M equipment! Build date of vehicle F-22.
February 22nd 1966.
The clock does not work.
Radio works but needs some pot cleaner.
Just prior to placing this advertisement we discovered a small radiator leak dripping a few drops after running the engine.
Radiator may require repair or restoration, however, not leaking that much at current time.
This is a unique vehicle, Milano Maroon Exterior / Black Interior 1966 Chevrolet Corvette 2 Door Coupe.
Powered by a 427ci-425hp /4 Speed.
It has been well cared for over the past 50 years by the same owner.
